Pabna Defenders

United People Pabna Defenders is a dynamic community of UPG Champions dedicated to driving sustainable development and positive social change in Pabna City, Bangladesh. Pabna, a vibrant city in the northwestern part of the country, blends a rich cultural heritage with a diverse population and a growing economy. However, the city also faces challenges in areas such as education, gender inequality, and environmental protection.

This community of Champions has 6 passionate UPG Champions who leverage their diverse skills and collective efforts to tackle these local issues. The COC focuses on quality education, gender equality, and environmental sustainability, implementing projects driven by the pressing needs of the community.

In education, United People Pabna Defenders aims to empower young minds by establishing free educational programs and after-school tutoring centers, addressing the lack of access to basic educational resources. To combat gender inequality, they plan to provide vocational training for women and raise awareness about gender rights, fostering a more inclusive society. In environmental protection, the group will organize tree-planting drives, waste management projects, and community clean-up campaigns to ensure Pabna’s sustainable development.
